Our outreach program provides chess education and tutoring free of cost to children in need.
Research have shown chess enhances critical thinking and decision making skills that can be applied in and beyond school.
Develop self confidence, creativity and competitiveness. It helps children plan and think ahead in a given situation.
Chess teaches patience. Children learn how to attack a problem and think thoroughly about their moves.
Children increase focus and attention span for sharper memory.
Chess strengthens Math and Reading skills. It helps kids tackle complex concepts.

Chess Scientist is a completely virtual program setup through the online chess software Lichess. Join us every Wednesday 7-8pm and Sunday 12-2pm!
